31st March 2020 – IMPORTANT NOTICE

We have currently stopped rehoming our animals in line with advice issued by the government surrounding COVID-19. Updates will be posted on our social media and online when this changes.

Our staff are working hard to care for the animals and our reception is not currently manned. We are unable to take volunteers or foster carers at this time. Please do call us on 0191 215 0435 for any enquiries.

We will also no longer be able to accept physical donations for the time being. If you would like to make a donation, please consider making a monetary donation to help us pay for our bills whilst we have no income.

This decision has not been taken lightly but we do have a duty of care towards our staff and animals – without our staff our animals would suffer and as a welfare organisation our animals come first.

If you are struggling to look after your pet or find a stray animal, please call our Arrivals Centre on 0191 232 2878.

Thank you for your support.

You can also donate via JustGiving by clicking here!

Helping thousands of lost, unwanted, neglected, abused and abandoned animals every year.

Our running costs are now in excess of £1.5million each year and we need your help to continue saving the lives of thousands of animals in the North East.

We receive no government funding so every donation really does make a huge difference. Your support is very much appreciated.
