Do you want to be part of our team and saving lives in the North East but without the full-time commitment? How about volunteering?
Our volunteers play such a huge role in helping us to continue our work and we are recruiting right now for the following:
Do you love being out and about, meeting new people? Are you enthusiastic?
If the answer is yes, then how about becoming a fundraising volunteer?
Fundraising volunteers come with us to the many events we do throughout the year and help us to raise vital funds for our animals on our stall.
There is absolutely no commitment at all and you can do as many or as little events as you like. Even if you can only help at an event for a couple of hours, we are more than grateful for your help.
Don’t just take our word for it though! This is what Alison had to say about being a fundraising volunteer…
“I have been an events volunteer for 2 years. I help out with fundraising events and fundays. I love the flexibility of being able to do something to help the shelter in my spare time.”
Interested? Drop us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0191 215 0435 and ask for Beth or Marie! We’d love to invite you in for a chat over a cup of tea of coffee.
Another great volunteering role is a shop volunteer! Volunteering in our charity shops is very flexible and if you can only do an hour or two that is still time which is very appreciated.
Shop volunteers can help with anything from serving customers on the till to sorting out donations, steaming, tagging and putting out new stock on the shop floor.
Our charity shops are so important to the charity as they bring in extra income to help pay for things such as veterinary bills and heating for our animals.
If you’re just after something to fill your time or maybe to fill an hour or so before the school run, why not volunteer and help a good cause as well?
If you are interested in volunteering at our charity shops, please email email@example.com or call 0191 215 0435.
