Days in Care: 203 💔

Paddy’s Journey of Perseverance: A Beacon of Hope
Paddy is a remarkable tale of resilience, a testament to the undying spirit of the animals we care for at Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter. When Paddy arrived in March 2023, he was a shadow of himself—emaciated and suffering, yet his gentle nature and loving heart shone through from day one. Despite the challenges, including a tail amputation due to an unfortunate injury, Paddy’s cheerful disposition never waned.

Our dedicated team worked tirelessly to restore Paddy’s health, providing him with the critical care and love he desperately needed. After months of struggle and waiting, Paddy’s patience paid off when Amy and Theo fell in love with him. Paddy’s story turned from one of survival to one of joy as he celebrated his first Christmas with his forever family, thriving and cherished.
