This road closed course takes in the famous landmarks of the Newcastle Quayside. Passing by the swing bridge, going under the high-level bridge, Queen Elizabeth II bridge, Redhuegh bridge and returning the same way. This is an extremely fast, flat course that boasts real personal best potential, whilst being accessible to beginners to kickstart the new year.

  • You would be supporting the work of Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter by raising vital funds. This would go to towards important costs such as our veterinary bills, heating bills, food and general animal care costs.

  • Our community fundraising officer will be available to support your fundraising efforts every step of the way, answering any queries you may have.

You can join our team by registering for one of our charity places. We ask that you raise a minimum of £200 through fundraising and sponsorship. Our registration fee* is £25
