Mojo could live with children age 10+. She could potentially live with other dogs, but no cats or other small animals.

Mojo is a lovely lady. She has such a sweet and gentle nature but is also lots of fun and has plenty of silliness to fill a home with laughs. She adores being around people and has won the heart of everyone she has met since arriving at the shelter, she’s an absolute delight to be around!

Mojo came into us after being found in quite a rural area and it was suspected that she’d had puppies not too long ago. Although we can’t be sure, we suspect that she may have been used as a working dog, which means she will likely always have a chase drive. This is something any potential rehomers will need to keep in mind, as letting her off-lead will be best done in secure areas only.

This sweet girl is a sociable lady and has enjoyed spending time with other dogs. She can be super playful and loves dogs who’ll interact with her, but is also happy to go on a nice, calm walk in the company of her canine friends too.

Mojo has recently enjoyed a stay on foster but, unfortunately, was not the right match for the family. Mojo came back to our care with a wonderful report of being great in the home, happy to snooze and have snuggles, but she was capable of jumping a 6ft fence! A previous family also reported that she struggled when being left alone, however she has since made progress with this and shown signs of improvement.

Mojo would love to find a family who can offer her the love and security she so desperately desires. Her new family will need to understand that she will need to adjust to her new environment when she first goes home and they will need to build up to her being happy to be left alone; a family who are around a lot of the time to keep her company whilst she works on this would be beneficial.

Mojo is such a wonderful girl, she has been a pleasure to get to know during her time with us and everyone who meets her has good things to say about this lovely lady. We have no doubt that she will bring lots of joy to one very lucky family. After being in the shelter since September, spending Christmas here and seeing the new year in, in her kennel, it is about time this sweet girl found her forever home, she is very patiently waiting for her forever family to find her.
