Layla is currently under the care of our vet awaiting sign off from her spay procedure. We will gather applications for her and reach out to the successful candidate once she is ready to begin her road to rehome.

Layla could live with children of any age. She would like to be the only dog in the home, but could potentially live with cats or other small animals, although we have no history of her behaviour around such animals.

Layla is an absolute delight who has been a pleasure to spend time with during her stay here at the shelter.

She hasn’t put a paw wrong whilst in our care and quickly makes friends with everyone she meets! She is a super affectionate lady and has a real playful and daft side too! She will interact with a variety of toys and enjoys playing fetch and ragging on soft toys.

As Layla can sometimes be a little bit overly friendly and excitable, if she was to be rehomed with children, they would need to be confident around enthusiastic dogs! She has shown that she can be uncomfortable around some dogs whilst in our care, but has been walked with calm, well-mannered dogs with no issues and so, although we feel she would prefer to be the only dog in the home, she may benefit from socialising with some polite canine companions when out and about.

Layla has experienced some health issues whilst in our care, including seizures. Any potential rehomers should be aware that these are likely to be classed as a pre-existing condition and will be excluded from pet insurance. The rehoming team will discuss Layla’s medical history in more detail with any successful applicants.

Layla has truly made herself a firm favourite amongst the staff and volunteers here at the shelter. Everyone who meets her, instantly falls in love with her. Her joy for life is infectious and we know she will make an incredible addition to her forever home. This incredible girl has so much love to give and will no doubt return her family’s affection tenfold.
