Kylo is now on foster in his potential forever home, wish him luck!

Kylo could live with children aged 16+. He would like to be the only animal in the home.

Kylo is a lovely, big lad with a big character to match!

He can be a little worried initially when meeting new people, but once he’s comfortable – he’s so much fun and a joy to spend time with.

Kylo needs a family with experience and confidence in managing large breeds. He has shown reactivity towards other dogs whilst in our care and needs someone who has the knowledge and capabilities to responsibly manage this behaviour and spend time working on him developing more appropriate behaviours. He needs a family who can respect and understand that he may never be particularly comfortable around other dogs and may always prefer to walk in quieter areas or at quiet times of day.

Kylo is a clever lad who has been taking well to training. He currently knows ‘sit’, ‘paw’ and ‘wait’ and has been great with his muzzle training. He enjoys human company and playing with his toys – particularly chasing a ball or playing tug!

This handsome big lad has been a pleasure to get to know during his time with us here at the shelter. We have no doubt he will make an incredibly rewarding addition to the right, dedicated family.

Medical:

Kylo has required surgery one on of his eyes whilst in our care. Any potential rehomers should be aware that if he were to have any future issues with his eyes, these will likely be classed as a pre-existing condition and therefore may not be covered by pet insurance. The rehoming team will discuss Kylo’s veterinary history in further detail with any successful applicants.

Unfortunately we're not currently taking applications for Kylo, but please take a look at our other beautiful dogs looking for a new home by following the link!
