Angelica is looking for an adult only home where she will be the only pet in the home

Angelica is an extremely playful and boisterous young girl, who still shows puppy like behaviour when playing. Angelica is very keen to learn and really engages with training, she would benefit from continuing both practical and fun training. Angelica has recently started scent work and she cant get enough of it and would benefit from continuing once in a home.

Angelica has been under-socialised with dogs and is still learning how to behave around them and interact in the right way, because of this she would need to be the only animal in the home. However she is keen to meet other dogs and continues to show improvement in her social skills.

Angelica is a big strong goofy girl, she loves to play, especially tug of war! She loves her human friends and bonds quickly with people, she does take a little bit of time to relax around new people and trust them, but once she does that bond and affection in unbreakable

Angelica is looking for a forever home with experience of large breeds and their strength, with the time available to dedicate to continue socialisation and introducing Angelica to the outside world and all the fun and novelty it brings with it.

Angelica came into the shelter very scared and worried, also in a significant amount of pain due to an eye condition she had, requiring surgery to both eyes. We believe she had been living in an enclosed area prior to her arrival, and due to these factors it took a little time to win her trust. Angelica bonded with a couple of members of the team quickly and once settled became friends with the rest.

Angelica is coming on leaps and bounds in our care and is learning to trust more and more people. She is beginning to greet strangers without worry and has been well-behaved on off-site walks. Watching Angelica come out of her shell is a delight to witness and we know the home lucky enough to adopt her will be proud as punch as they enjoy watching her build her confidence and show off her fun and silly self!
