Alfie is now on foster in his potential forever home, wish him luck!

Alfie can be rehomed with children 10+ but will need to be the only dog in the home. Alfie could potentially live with cats and small animals though we have no history on his behaviours around such animals.

Alfie arrived into our care as a stray and he was quite anxious about his new environment, however has been a very good boy during his whole stay! During his time with us he has started to show us more of his true personality and he is a lovely little chap to spend time with

Alfie has met a few dogs whilst in our care and has had varying reactions, but from what we have seen from him, we feel he would rather not live with another dog but doesn’t mind the company of other calmer dogs

Alfie does have a bit of arthritis, which is managed by daily pain relief, and has been doing so much better with this since starting his meds. But his new family should be aware of this and the fact he won’t want to walk miles every day!

He will likely love all the attention his new family have to give him and will be seeking all the comfy spots in the house to curl up and nap in! He truly deserves a family of his own and to have a loving forever home for his retirement home

Unfortunately we're not currently taking applications for Alfie, but please take a look at our other beautiful dogs looking for a new home by following the link!
