McFlurry could live with children aged 10+. He would like to be the only animal in the home and will require outdoor access.

McFlurry is a sweet boy who settled in quickly here at the shelter.

He is always happy to see his human friends and loves getting out of his pen for a cuddle! He’s a very food-oriented lad and loves his treats – particularly Dreamies or Lick-E-Lix! He enjoys sitting on your lap to be made a fuss of, but isn’t too keen on being picked up.

McFlurry has spent quite some time as a stray where he was fed by several people in the neighbourhood. His coat was heavily matted and had to be completely shaved – hence his current haircut! He is a long-haired boy and will need a family who are prepared for the extra maintenance that comes with keeping a long coat healthy and matt-free as it grows back in, to ensure he always remains comfortable.

McFlurry was briefly taken in by a finder where he showed that he was really not keen on the dog in the home, he can also be a little temperamental with other cats. Due to this, we feel that McFlurry would be happiest as the only animal in his forever home.

This handsome and affectionate chap hasn’t had the easiest of lives up until now. He has so much love to give and so deserves to finally know the true love of a forever family, where he can be spoilt rotten in the safety and security of his forever home as he should’ve always known. He is such a character and has been a pleasure to get to know during our stay with us. We have no doubt he will make a wonderful addition to his lucky family.
