Lumen could live with children aged 10+. She would like to be the only cat in the home and will require outdoor access.

Lumen is a lovely, sweet girl who was quite worried when she first arrived here at the shelter.

She can be a timid lady and took a little while to let her guard down. She also arrived into our care with another cat, who was displaying some aggressive behaviours towards her. Since separating them, Lumen seems to be a much happier girl, who is now growing in confidence and showing us more and more of her true character.

She is a true lap cat who loves attention! She will purr away on your knee, desperate for a fuss! Lumen does love her food and treats but is currently quite overweight. She will need a responsible family who can carefully monitor her diet and encourage her to reach and maintain a healthier weight.

Lumen displayed some stress-related behaviours in her previous home which we believe are due to being unhappy living with other cats, so she would be best suited to a home without any other feline companions. She did also live with a dog, who she was said to get along with, so she could potentially live with another calm and well-mannered dog again with slow, careful introductions.

Lumen is a sensitive little lady who needs a calm and quiet home who can offer her the time, patience and gentle encouragement she needs whilst she finds her feet and adjusts to her new environment. We have no doubt that she will soon be coming out of her shell in no time and rewarding her forever family with tons of love and affection!
