Edith & Peggy could live with children aged 10+ and are looking for a home where they will have outdoor access.

Edith (black) & Peggy (black & white) are a lovely pair of sisters who are sadly finding the shelter environment a little overwhelming.

Up until recently, the girls were struggling to adjust and have spent a lot of their time hiding away. However, after moving them to a quieter area of our site and with our dedicated team continuing to spend time with them, they are slowly beginning to explore their environment more and are now happy to accept strokes and have a fuss from our staff members and are starting to reveal more and more of their sweet characters.

Both have enjoyed treats and having some attention. Edith has even now begun meowing when our staff are around to make sure we don’t forget to say hello! Edith has also enjoyed rolling round with some catnip.

Their previous home said that both girls could be a little shy of new people initially, but it doesn’t take Peggy long to warm up, Edith can take a little while longer but is always a well-behaved girl. They reported that Peggy could be more independent and liked her own space at times, whereas Edith was more of a lapcat.

These sweet little ladies desperately need a calm and quiet home who can offer them the time, patience and understanding they need whilst they adapt to their new surroundings and rebuild their confidence. We have no doubt that, once they are back in the safety and security of a loving forever home, they will soon be showing their new family more and more of their happy, carefree characters.
