DJ

DJ is currently under the care of the vet. We will continue to gather application forms and contact the successful applicant once he is ready for rehoming.

DJ is looking for an adult-only home. He would like to be the only cat in the home and will require outdoor access.

DJ is a lovely lad who initially struggled to settle in here at the shelter.

He is not a fan of other cats and so found the cattery environment very difficult to cope with. Once we moved him to a quieter area, he became a much happier boy, who is now super friendly with our staff!

He loves being made a fuss of and his meal times – being very vocal when he knows his food is on it’s way! He also enjoys having a good explore of his surroundings.

DJ has previously lived in a home with another cat which he found very stressful and it is clear from his initial reaction to our cattery environment that being around other cats makes him deeply unhappy. Therefore, he would be best suited to being the only cat in the home.

DJ does like things to be on his terms and so needs a family who can respect his boundaries, who are happy to give him attention when he asks for it, but who can also understand when he wants to be left to do his own thing.

This handsome chap is absolutely full of character and will undoubtedly bring so much charm to his forever home! His 8th birthday is fast approaching on the 12th of February and we so hope that he will have a forever family to spend it with.
