Dexter could live with children aged 14+ and is looking for an indoor-only home.

Dexter is a lovely lad who, although took a little while to settle in initially, has soon made friends with our staff and volunteers, showing us what a sweet and chatty boy he is!

Despite being a slightly older boy, Dexter still has a super playful side and loves to chase and bat around his toys – particularly catnip ones!

He is a super affectionate chap and, once he’s comfortable, will rub around your legs and headbutt your hands for as much attention as possible!

Dexter does still get spooked every now and then, so would benefit from a quieter home environment who can allow him the time and space he needs whilst he finds his feet and adjusts to his new surroundings. He does like to have some safe hiding spaces – his favourite cosy spot here at the shelter is to dig under his blankets in his bed where he can feel safe and secure.

Dexter arrived into our care under very sad circumstances and unfortunately, we don’t know much about his previous life. He has been a pleasure to get to know and spend time with during his stay with us and we have no doubt he will make a wonderful addition to his lucky forever home. This handsome boy has so much love to give and we are sure he will reward his forever family with tons of affection!
