Lending a helping paw
We were delighted to welcome our friends from Herbal Dog Co to the Shelter again on Friday 24th October 2025 as they dropped off a generous donation of leads and harnesses for our dogs. These items make such a difference to our daily walks, helping our team and volunteers keep our dogs safe and comfortable while they enjoy their time outdoors. As well as this, they were also kind enough to donate a huge supply of supplements for our animals.
Support throughout the year
This is just the latest act of kindness from Herbal Dog Co, who have been incredible supporters of Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter throughout the year. Earlier in the summer, they helped us transform part of our grounds into a beautiful sensory garden, a calm, enriching space where our dogs can explore new scents and textures, helping to reduce stress and build confidence.
Their generosity doesn’t stop there. Herbal Dog Co also make monthly donations to support the ongoing care of our animals and have recently pledged to donate a portion of profits from their Snow Dog Shampoo sales directly to the Shelter.
