Tony could live with children age 14+. He will require outdoor access.

Tony is a very sensitive soul who has found it difficult adjusting to life at the shelter. Tony has spent the majority of his stay in our care hiding behind his bed, and hissing when approached.

After some time and a lot of patience, he has slowly started to come round to some of our staff. He has started coming out to interact with staff very slowly and allowing some strokes. He loves lick-elix and will find it hard to resist one which has been a great way to win him over!  He is interested in toys and will pick up some catnip ones and throw them around.  He is still on high alert however, and with any sudden movements or noises, he will run back into hiding.

We feel that given time and patience, Tony will learn to trust his new family and build a connection, showing his true, playful and loving nature that we’re starting to see glimpses of!
