Chloe is looking for an adult-only home. She would like to be the only animal in the home and requires an indoor-only environment.

Chloe is a worried little lady who has found the shelter environment quite overwhelming.

She initially spent most of her time hiding away and feeling quite anxious. However, more recently, with the patience of our dedicated team, Chloe has slowly been letting her guard down and making some small progress. She is now happy to have some strokes and will often rub her head into our staff for a little fuss. She is still very wary though and can revert back to being defensive if she feels her safe space is being invaded.

Chloe has previously lived in a home with children and another cat, which she found very stressful. She would be best suited to a calm and quiet adult-only home, with a family who can offer her the time, space, patience and understanding she needs to build her confidence and adjust to her new surroundings.

We have already seen glimpses of what a sweet girl Chloe can be and we have no doubt that, once away from the busy shelter environment, with the love and support of her forever family, she will only continue to make more and more progress and be able to fully relax, learn to trust her new family and reward them with her true, lovely character.

Chloe would be best suited to an experienced home who can provide her with the safety and security she needs. This poor girl has had a tough time living in environments she feels quite stressed in. After recently having her 9th birthday whilst in our care, she so deserves to finally know what it feels like to be safe and secure in a calm, quiet and predictable home. Although Chloe may take a little while to settle into her new home, we have no doubt she will be so worth her new family’s time and patience.
