Curtis could live with children aged 10+ and will require outdoor access.

Curtis is a lovely, sweet lad who was a little shy when he first arrived here at the shelter.

Now that he’s had more time to settle in, he has begun showing us what a friendly boy he is! He will often be sat waiting at the front of his pen and becomes quite vocal for attention when he hears someone enter the cattery. Once comfortable, he enjoys a fuss and will often push his head into our hands to ask for more attention.

He does still have his shy moments and can sometimes become spooked and retreat to the safety of his cat tree, but it doesn’t take him long to warm up and come back round. He hasn’t shown an interest in playing with toys whilst in our care, but does love his treats – particularly Lick-E-Lix – he will even climb onto our staff’s knees to reach them!

Curtis was brought into the shelter after being found as a stray and so, sadly, we don’t know anything about his previous life. He has been a lovely little chap to get to know during his stay with us. He would be best suited to a family who can offer him the time, patience and understanding he needs whilst he settles in, we have no doubt he will soon be asking for a fuss and showing his wonderful, sweet nature in no time! If he is to go home with any children, they should be cat-savvy and be able to respect his need for space when he’s feeling a little overwhelmed.

This sweet little soul has done so well adjusting to the shelter environment, he so deserves to now find his forever home where he can be spoilt rotten and experience the love, safety and security of his forever family.
