Oreo is looking for an adult-only home, he would like to be the only pet in the home and requires an indoor-only environment.

Oreo is a very sweet and affectionate boy, but he is also very sensitive and shy initially.  He can warn you off when you first approach him, but it is all talk and within a few minutes he is usually wanting to be in your lap, purring and chatting away.  Oreo just needs to feel safe in his environment, and is easily scared when faced with uncertainty.

We feel he would suit an adult only home with no other pets where he can have his own space to come around or retreat if he needs too. He was brought into our care with another cat, but they didn’t get along.

Oreo has required surgery to repair a hernia whilst in our care. Whilst the surgery was a success and the hernia is now resolved, any potential rehomers should be aware that, if he were to get any future hernias / related issues, they would likely be classed as a pre-existing condition and won’t be covered by pet insurance.

As Oreo continues to settle in, he’s become an absolute pleasure to be around, giving lots of head boops and sitting in laps getting all the cuddles he can! Given a bit of time to settle into his new home, Oreo’s new family will be rewarded with lots of affection.
