Hemingway

Hemingway is looking for an adult-only home, he would like to be the only pet in the home and he will require outdoor access once settled.

Hemingway hasn’t been in our care for long, we’re still getting to know him but he has a very strong dislike for other cats which is making it harder for us to get to know his true personality. He arrived in our care as a stray, so we don’t know his history. Hemingway is a confident lad, he’s nice to people initially but he gets frustrated by the other cats in the cattery and he sometimes misdirects his frustration towards our staff.

Hemingway loves his food, he’s very vocal at meal times and he likes to play, especially chasing and batting wand toys. Underneath that tough street-cat shell there is a fun-loving lad who wants to let his guard down, and we hope that he will get to do this once he’s feeling safe in a home environment.

Hemingway will require an adult only home where he is the only pet, as he gets so distressed with other cats around. As Hemingway is used to being outdoors, he will require outdoor access once he’s settled, he could benefit from living in an area without too many resident cats around.
