Elliot could live with children of any age and is looking for a home where he will have outdoor access.

Elliot is a wonderful boy who has spent the past few months in a foster home whilst he was getting ready for rehoming.

Elliot arrived at the shelter as a stray in a sorry state, he was underweight and in very poor condition.

Thanks to the love, care and dedication of his fantastic foster carers, Elliot has transformed from a lethargic, poorly cat to a healthy, sociable and gentle boy who has got a whole new lease of life!

His foster carers have reported that he loves to play, especially chasing his own tail! They have also said he is a very friendly boy, who is always happy to see everyone – including any visitors to the home and he has been a lovely, gentle boy with children too. He can be vocal to let you know when he wants attention and will greet his foster carers at the front door when they come home, but he is also happy to snooze most of his time away in his favourite spot. His foster carers have said that he loves to be stroked, but also loves to lick his humans and will often put his paw on your hand to hold it down so he can give you a good clean! Another funny quirk his fosterers have mentioned is that he likes to drink from the kitchen tap!

Elliot’s foster carers have only had good things to say about this lovely chap – he has truly had a glowing report. They’ve mentioned that he’s not keen on his ears or paws being touched and doesn’t love being picked up, but he will just pull away and has never once shown any signs of aggression.

Elliot has required some veterinary treatment for health issues, including arthritis and itchy ears. Any potential rehomers should be aware that these will be classed as pre-existing conditions and will be excluded from pet insurance. The rehoming team will discuss Elliot’s medical history in more detail with any successful applicants.

This lovely lad has genuinely made such an incredible transformation since first arriving here at the shelter and he has been an absolute pleasure for his foster carers to get to know and spend time with. After having such a tough time as a poorly stray, Elliot so deserves to find a loving forever home, where he can spend his golden days warm, safe, comfortable and spoilt rotten by his forever family. We have no doubt that he will make an incredible family member.
