Stevie

Stevie has a potential family lined up. Whilst he remains in our care, we continue to welcome applications.

Stevie could live with children aged 10+. He would like to be the only cat in the home and will require outdoor access.

Stevie is a lovely lad who has recently spent time in a foster home.

His foster carer has reported that he does like to take himself off to a quiet area where he won’t be disturbed for long snoozes, but does seek human company when in the mood and will purr away and give plenty of nose rubs!

His foster carers also said that he enjoys a cuddle in their laps and would occasionally sleep on their bed at night. They also mentioned that he has been becoming more playful recently and particularly enjoys playing with pieces of string with his humans!

Stevie has previously lived with another cat, but they weren’t bonded at all. He can also be a very picky eater and prefers to eat little and often and have his humans around for meal times, so we feel he would be best suited to being the only cat in the home where he doesn’t have to worry about his food being stolen! As he also likes a calm and quiet environment where he can take himself off to have some time to himself, he would prefer a home with no young children.

Stevie has a low grade heart murmur and, whilst currently not causing him any issues, any potential rehomers should be aware that it will be classed as a pre-existing condition and will be excluded by pet insurance. The rehoming team will discuss this in more detail with any successful applicants.

Stevie truly is a wonderful chap who so deserves to find his forever home where he can be spoilt rotten, spending his days snoozing away and getting plenty of fuss, when he feels like it, from his humans!
