Alan

Alan is awaiting a sign-off from our vets following a neuter procedure. We will start gathering application forms and reach out to the successful applicant once he’s signed off for rehoming.

Alan can live with children 10+ and other dogs, but no cats or small animals.

Alan is a beautiful boy inside and out. He is a gentle soul who is struggling in the kennel environment and can get himself quite worked up. However, once out and about he is a very sweet, gentle, and friendly lad.

Alan can pull on his lead initially, but does ease into a nice stroll. He is still very young and is very food motivated so training him should be a pleasure – and we already see positive signs of him picking up on basic commands.

Though super friendly, Alan is a timid lad, and can be easily spooked and startled, turning to his human friends for comfort and support when scared.

Alan does also have a silly streak too and can get quite bouncy when excited; he adores interacting with is human friends.

Alan has been very well mannered when meeting other dogs, having a polite sniff and carrying on with his day. Though we haven’t seen Alan be playful with another dog, we do feel like the right dog could encourage that side of him allowing him to be a stress-free pup once again!

Alan is finding his kennel a stressful environment, and is desperate to be in a home. We would love to find Alan a family who have the time and patience to teach him the fun of the world, at his pace, helping build his confidence and bringing out his silly side!

Alan may need a little additional support with his worries when left alone, but we have no doubt this little golden boy will pay you back for your hard work and dedication tenfold with so so much love!
