Socks

Socks is currently under the care of our vet awaiting sign-off from her spay procedure. We will gather application forms and contact the successful applicant once she is ready for rehoming.

Socks could live with children aged 10+ and is looking for an indoor-only home.

Socks is a lovely lady who, although a little overwhelmed initially, has settled in pretty well here at the shelter.

She can be shy when first approached, but is always very keen to say hello – it might just take her a moment to build her confidence enough to come out of her bed for a proper greeting!

She has also begun showing us her playful side when encouraged and we feel this is something she will show her family more and more of once in a loving forever home where she is able to fully relax. She has also been known to get a little nibbly when excited, so a cat-savvy family with older children would be best!

Being an indoor-only cat, Socks will need a family who are able to provide her with plenty of attention and stimulation to keep her happy and healthy both mentally and physically. Being long-haired, she will also need responsible owners who are prepared for the extra brushing and maintenance that comes with keeping longer coats in good condition and mat-free.

Socks arrived into our care under very sad circumstances, she has been an incredibly brave little lady adjusting to her new surroundings and has been a pleasure to get to know and spend time with. She so deserves to find the most perfect forever home, who can spoil her rotten and encourage her to continue developing her confidence. We have no doubt that watching her reveal more and more of her true, sweet character as she becomes more comfortable will be an incredibly rewarding experience for her lucky forever family.
