Gracey could live with children aged 14+. She would like to be the only pet in the home and will require outdoor access once settled in.

Gracey is a lovely lady who has really grown in confidence since first arriving here at the shelter.

She is happy to say hello to all of our staff and volunteers and, once comfortable with you, will even climb on to your knee and rub into your hands to make sure she’s getting plenty of attention! She has also recently shown an occasional playful side and will interact with ribbon and string toys.

Gracey loves snoozing away on top of her cat tree but also enjoys having an explore and doing her own thing, so her new family should understand and respect that, as much as she enjoys being made a fuss of, she does also have an independent side. Gracey is also currently a little overweight and so needs a responsible family who can help her reach and maintain a healthy weight.

Gracey has previously lived in a home with children and did not enjoy a noisy environment, therefore she would be best suited to an adult-only home, or a home with older, calm and cat-savvy children. Gracey also previously lived with another cat, who she came into the shelter with. However, after they both spent time in one of our experienced foster homes together, the foster carer reported that they weren’t getting on great in the home and so we feel they would both be happier being rehomed as the only pet in their forever home.

This sweet girl has been such a pleasure to get to know during her time here at the shelter. She has so much love to give and so deserves to find a forever home, where she can be spoilt rotten and enjoy a calm and peaceful forever home – and having all of the attention for herself! We have no doubt she will make a wonderful, affectionate addition to her lucky forever family.
