Trevor could live with children aged 16+. He could potentially live with another dog, but no cats or small animals.

Trevor is a lovely lad who was very worried and timid when he first arrived here at the shelter. He was quite shut down and lacked in confidence.

During his time with us, we have slowly seen improvement with this, but he still has some progress to make in coming out of his shell!

Trevor is ideally looking for a family who have experience of anxious dogs and can offer him the time, patience and support he needs to be able to find his feet and realise the world isn’t such a scary place!

Once Trevor is comfortable with you, he is a very affectionate lad and he has begun showing us little glimpses of the fun and energetic young boy we know he can be.

When meeting other dogs whilst in our care, Trevor has been happy to say hello and has been relaxed in their company, but tends to lose interest quite quickly, so, if he was to go home with another dog, they would need to be well-matched and suit his laid-back approach.

This sweet lad will no doubt require dedication and plenty of TLC whilst he finds his confidence, but we have no doubt that watching him let his guard down and learn to have fun and trust his new family will be an incredibly rewarding experience.
