Olly

Olly is currently under the care of our vet awaiting sign off. We will gather applications for him and reach out to the successful candidate once he is ready to begin his road to rehome.

Olly is looking for an adult-only home. He could potentially live with other dogs and cats or small animals, although we have no history of his behaviour around such animals.

Olly is a lovely little lad who loves getting out and about on his walks and saying hello to everyone he meets!

He is an affectionate boy who enjoys spending time with his human friends.

Olly arrived into the shelter in horrendous condition and had very clearly experienced a life of neglect. His coat was very matted and had to be shaved off, revealing sore and painful skin underneath. Understandably, he can sometimes be worried about certain handling, but he is very good at communicating when he is uncomfortable. It is very important that Olly has a family who are able to understand and respect his boundaries.

Although his skin issues are now under control, any potential rehomers should be aware that these will likely be classed as a pre-existing condition and will be excluded from pet insurance if he was to have any future flare-ups. The rehoming team will discuss Olly’s medical history in more detail with any successful applicants.

Olly has clearly had a tough life up until arriving into our care and he so deserves a forever home who are able to give him the life he deserves, where he can put his days of neglect far behind him. He needs a family who can offer him the patience and understanding he needs when he feels overwhelmed. He has been such a brave lad during his healing journey and is now ready to start his beautiful next chapter, where he can be shown the unconditional love, kindness and comfort he should’ve always known.
