Duchess

Duchess could love with children aged 14+. She would like to be the only pet in the home and is looking for a home where she will have outdoor access.

Duchess is a beautiful girl who, sadly, is struggling with the shelter environment.

She is finding the cattery very overwhelming and currently spends the majority of her time hiding away, only coming out when there is nobody around.

Duchess has lived with another cat and several children previously and didn’t cope well. She would prefer to be the only animal in the home and requires a family with older, cat-savvy children or an adult-only home.

Duchess will need a calm and quiet home, with a family who are experienced with timid cats and helping them to come out of their shell, so she can begin to let her guard down and relax into her new surroundings.

We have no doubt that, once Duchess begins to build some confidence, it will be incredibly rewarding to be able to watch her learn to trust her new family and show more and more of her true character.

Duchess has had a tough time, being stressed in her previous home and now so unhappy here at the shelter. This little lady so deserves to find an environment where she can truly thrive and forget about all her worries. She so desperately needs to be given a chance to experience a happy, stress-free life where she can go from strength-to-strength with the support of her forever family.
