Rosco

Rosco is looking for an adult-only home. He would like to be the only dog in the home. He could potentially live with cats and other small animals, although we have no history of his behaviour around such animals.

Rosco is a lovely lad who has quickly made friends with our staff here at the shelter.

Although it can take him a little while to warm up to new people, once he is comfortable – he is a friendly lad who enjoys having a fuss. He likes having a good explore and getting out and about!

Rosco has shown that he is selective about the dogs he will tolerate and can be vocal when first meeting them. He has been on walks with several of the other dogs in our care and does calm down and walks nicely alongside – but it may be a behaviour you see displayed once home.

Rosco has had a tough time recently. He arrived into our care as a stray after being found in poor condition with a severely matted coat. Sadly, he is not enjoying his time in kennels and is more than ready to find his forever home, where he can curl up safe and cosy and put his days of neglect far behind him.

This lovely little lad so deserves a family who can spoil him rotten and show him the life and love he should’ve always known.

Medical:

Rosco has had a couple of minor health issues that are likely to be classed as pre-existing conditions and won’t be covered by pet insurance. The rehoming team will discuss his medical history in more detail with any successful applicants.
