Dan & Robin

Dan & Robin could live with children aged 14+. They could potentially live with other cats and are looking for a home where they will have outdoor access.

Dan & Robin are a lovely young pair of lads who have been a pleasure for our staff to get to know during their time here at the shelter.

Dan is the more confident of the duo – he is a sweet and confident lad who is very sociable and loves being made a fuss of! He will always be straight over to see our staff and volunteers – especially if they have food! He is a very loving and affectionate boy.

Robin is more on the timid side and has found the shelter a little more of an overwhelming environment – often hiding away in his bed. He does eventually become brave and will come out to say hello, but he is quite a skittish boy at the moment and isn’t quite sure how to behave around his human friends currently.

Robin will need some time and patience from his new family who can help him to learn that the world isn’t such a scary place and who can offer him the understanding and gentle encouragement he needs whilst he finds his feet and builds his confidence. He loves playtime and treats – so these will be a good way for his new family to begin building a bond with him and enable him to come out of his shell.

Both boys have had hernia repair surgery whilst in our care. Whilst they have healed well with no issues, any potential rehomers should be aware that this will likely be classed as a pre-existing condition and is unlikely to be covered by pet insurance.

Both boys are looking for a home who can offer them the attention they deserve and who are able to cater to their different needs – offering Dan lots of fuss and attention and allowing Robin the time and patience he requires.

We have no doubt that watching these sweet lads enjoy their forever home together, being spoilt rotten, will be incredibly rewarding for their lucky forever family.
