Billy

Billy is looking for an adult only home and will need to be the only animal in the home.

Billy first came into our care as a 7/8 month old lad and at the time was very silly and over the top. He was rehomed and his new family worked really hard with him, and loved him dearly, but found his behaviours too challenging to manage within their time and lifestyle and worried they were simply not the right home for him.

Billy is a lovely lad with a real heart of gold; though we haven’t seen all of the behaviours described in the home, we have to consider that this could be environmental and his struggles in a domesticated environment may indicate that he had not have lived in a home before, or been out walking and socialised in the world and, therefore, can become easily overwhelmed.

Billy is going to need someone with the time, dedication and experience to work with him and would recommend working with a behaviourist from the start of his journey. We feel Billy would benefit from a home with a lot of outdoor space as this seems to be the environment he is most comfortable with, whilst he gets used to learning how to live as a pampered pet pooch.

We know Billy will pose some challenges, but we also know what a beautiful and majestic lad he is and, in the right home, we hope he can grow and learn how to manage his big feelings better, and that he truly has the potential to be the most incredible boy!
