Why should you run for Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter?

  • You would be supporting the work of Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter by raising vital funds. This would go to towards important costs such as our veterinary bills, heating bills, food and general animal care costs.
  • You will receive a Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter running top to wear on the big day, to help keep you comfortable and look the part!
  • You will receive an information pack with fundraising ideas to help you reach your target and support your campaign.
  • Our community fundraising officer will be available to support your fundraising efforts every step of the way, answering any queries you may have.

If you are applying for either event, we would ask that you raise a minimum of £200 through fundraising and sponsorship. Our registration fee* for the 10k is £30 and for the half marathon it is £40.
