Run for Team Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter at the MacTuff New year’s challenge. Whether you run 5km or 21km you will be facing a Bucket list worthy obstacle challenge, including challenging and muddy terrain, aswell as a range of obstacles for you to overcome within the run.

Why should you run for Newcastle Dog and Cat shelter?

• By running for us in a MacTuff event, you will be supporting the work of Newcastle Dog and Cat shelter and raising vital funds to go towards important costs such as our veterinary bills, heating bills, food, and general animal care costs
• You will receive a Newcastle Dog and Cat shelter running top to wear on the big day, to keep you comfortable and help you look the part!
• You will receive an information pack with fundraising ideas to help you reach your target, and our community fundraising officer will be available to support your fundraising efforts every step of the way

Registration

The MacTuff New year’s challenge has a range of distances you can take on, please see below for the registration fee and fundraising target for each event:

MacTuff 8k – Registration fee: £50, Fundraising target: £300

MacTuff 15k – Registration fee: £55, Fundraising target: £400

MacTuff 21k- Registration fee: £55, Fundraising target: £500

You can join our team either by registering for one of our charity places, or with your own place through MacTuff. We ask that you raise a minimum of the fundraising target which is set for the specific distance that you have chosen to run.

(Please note: the registration fee is non-refundable once you have accepted your place at the event)
