Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter announce partnership with Insane Competitions

We are delighted to share that Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter has partnered with Insane Competitions, a new UK-based competition platform, which officially launched on 1st May 2025. As part of their commitment to supporting local causes, Insane Competitions has pledged to run two charity competitions each month, with all profits donated directly to our shelter. To mark the launch, we were honoured to attend Insane Competitions’ website launch event on 1st May. The event highlighted their dedication to community support and their innovative approach to fundraising.

Our Fundraising and Marketing Manager, Iain Riddell, commented on the partnership:

“We’re very excited to be partnering with Insane Competitions. The funds raised through their monthly charity competitions will enable us to continue providing the highest standard of care for animals during their stay with us. It’s heartening to see new businesses placing community and animal welfare at the heart of their initiatives.”
