Cat Number 2006– Age (approx) 6 years – Arrival Date March 2022

Val is an outdoor cat that can live with children aged 5+.

Val is a friendly girl, always at the front of her pen meowing for some attention (and food!). She loves affection and will happily cuddle into your arms when picked up. She loves a good ear scratch. She has been known in her previous home to sneak into your bed at night for a cuddle.

Val is a very playful girl and loves throwing her bouncy ball round her pen or dragging around her string toys. She enjoys catnip mice and anything she can chase! Val is looking for a forever home that has the time and energy to keep her entertained, in return she will give you plenty of love and affection. She may benefit from a family environment where there are multiple people around to give her attention.

Val is definitely carrying a few extra pounds and would benefit massively from losing some weight! We are hoping that the extra weight will hopefully fall off her once she has the space in her new forever home to run about and burn off her extra energy.

Val has a grade 2 heart murmur. Heart murmurs are common in cats, and grade 2 is on the lower end of the scale. Whilst it’s not causing Val any issues at the moment, please note that if she did need any further heart investigation or treatment in the future, it may be excluded by pet insurance as a pre-existing condition. Val has also been found to have a sensitive stomach. For this reason, she is currently on a specialist bland diet of Hills I/D digestive care dry food, which comes at a higher cost than most regular cat food so her new home will have to take this into consideration.

If you are interested in rehoming Val, please fill out the application form below.

Please note: due to limited resources we are unable to get back to everyone. If you do not hear from us you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.
