Rocco

Rocco is a very sweet and gentle young boy who has taken it quite hard coming into the shelter.  He hasn’t been here long and so far has not shown much of his personality as he spends a large amount of time hiding in his bed.  He has been very scared and nervous of new people.

Over the last few days Rocco’s confidence has been making huge improvements, and he’ll now come out to see those he’s most familiar with for some strokes and fuss. The company of a familiar friend helps give him feel more comfortable to explore his pen a bit more and ask for the affection that he’s been wanting all along!

In his previous home Rocco lived with children and another cat.  Whilst he apparently loved the children, he was not too bothered about the cat, but they got on okay.  He would come and sit on his previous owners’ lap and was confident in the home.

Rocco is a boy that takes time to adjust to change, and with the right home and right level of patience, hopefully Rocco will be able to get back to his confident and affectionate self!
