Rehoming Centre Updates
A very big thank you to everyone who has supported us during the Covid pandemic. Our supporters have been incredible, standing right by our side, and have helped us through a very difficult and challenging time.
During the pandemic, we have had the opportunity to revaluate how we do things at the shelter and, for the first time, we have been taking rehoming applications online.
We know so many of our supporters have been desperate for us to reopen and wish to let you all know there will be a slightly different process to the way things used to be.
We will have applications available at the shelter, however, they will not be processed or assessed on the same day as we will continue to take applications online also which you can find here.
As an animal charity our animals, and the staff who care for them, are our number one priority. With that in mind, we have decided to begin with a limited reopening schedule.
Our Benton Rehoming Centre will, therefore, be open Friday’s, Saturday’s, and Sunday’s from 1pm to 4pm from Friday 12th November.
Please be aware, during the last few months there have been some nationwide difficulties with the distribution of cat vaccines. This has meant we have had to dramatically step up our feline care processes and procedures.
Due to many cats being unable to be fully vaccinated our cattery will remain closed to the public until this situation is rectified.
All of our kennel blocks will remain closed. You can still see some of our dogs available for rehoming in their runs if they feel comfortable coming out to say hello.
Thank you so much for your understanding and patience and we look forward to seeing you all soon.
