Murphy needs an adult only home with no other animals.
Overall Murphy is a lovely, sweet boy who has came on in leaps and bounds from the frightened, nervous boy who first arrived into our care. He is now always pleased to see his human friends and will even jump up and put his paws on our shoulders for a cuddle!
Despite how well Murphy has been doing with our staff, he still remains a very nervous boy of strangers and he will need continuous training to help him overcome his anxieties – both with strangers and other dogs.
Murphy’s family should be experienced and responsible dog owners who have experience with anxious, reactive dogs, they should be willing to put appropriate management in place to help his behaviours and be willing to work with a behaviourist to set him on the right path to becoming a more relaxed and confident dog.
Murphy truly has so much love to give and we are sure he will be a massively rewarding companion for an experienced family who is dedicated to him.
