Mr Amy – Dog Number 2538 – Age (approx) 3 years old – Greyhound – Arrival Date – November 2022.
Mister Amy can be rehomed with children 16+ and could live with another dog, but no cats or small animals.
Mister Amy is a wonderful but timid boy who needs to learn that the world is actually a happy place!
He is extremely kind and gentle and has been slowly coming out of his shell whilst with us and showing us more of his fun-loving character!
He has enjoyed a run around in our enclosed paddock and has started to show us his speedy side. He is a creature of habit and likes to have his bed a certain way (he will pull any bedding out of his bed to lay on the floor with it!)
Mister Amy will be best suited to a home with experience of nervous dogs to give you a head start on building his confidence and showing him how much enjoyment there is to be had in this world! You will need to be patient and understanding as he comes out of his shell. We have no doubt the journey will be rewarding as you watch and encourage him to grow into a fun and courageous boy.
Mister Amy is an ex-racing Greyhound so is discovering much of the world for the first time. Due to his instinctual breed trait to chase little furry things, we would ask Eskimo’s future owners walk him on a muzzle to protect local wildlife.
