Come and join our team for the Great North Run 2023 from Newcastle to South Shields!

We ask for a £50.00 registration fee to secure your place to help cover the cost of places. Please note this fee is non-refundable so should you be unable to take part in the run, you will not be able to get your £50.00 fee refunded.

We do ask all runners to raise a minimum of £250.00 in sponsorship – this is to keep up with costs of running the shelter’s so together we can all raise as much as we can for the animals in our care.

In return you will receive a fundraising pack, a t-shirt or vest (your preference) to run in on the day and complimentary refreshments after the run from our tent in Charity Village where you will be greeted by members of the team!

This year our GNR hoodies are back with a slight difference. Due to the amount of unclaimed hoodies in 2022, we have decided to charge a nominal fee of £10.00 for our popular GNR finisher hoodies.

Runners will receive their hoodie at the end of the race from our team in the charity village alongside complementary refreshments and snacks. This also saves your supporters having to carry these items for you whilst you take part. You can buy your hoodie here.
