Fifi is an indoor cat, looking for an adult only home with no other pets.

Fifi was a very very timid and nervous girl when she first arrived at the shelter, who struggled to settle into cattery life. Thankfully, she was able to be cared for by a temporary foster family whilst she was undergoing her medical treatment in order to become ready to rehome.

When she first arrived in her foster home, she remained a very scared little cat.  She was given the time she needed to settle into a single room and then started to her explore other parts of the house overnight when there weren’t any humans awake and moving around!

As time has gone on her confidence has improved immensely.  When she wants food, play or strokes she comes to find her humans and is very insistent that they respond accordingly.  She will happily roll around on our laps until she settles to sleep and comes into the bedroom to cuddle up when she wants too.  She really is one of the cutest cats to play with!

However, she does need a home with someone who is patient enough to first let her settle and then to continue her socialisation so that she is less spooked and more acceptable of being approached and picked up.

Fifi is looking for a home with no children or other pets, so that she can settle in the calmest, quietest environment possible. Once she is properly comfortable, she absolutely blossoms into a loving and fun little companion, who will make the perfect family very happy!

Fifi has received treatment for skin issues, and we are currently trying to resolve an ongoing eye condition. She has a grade 2/6 heart murmur, it’s on the lower end of the scale and vets believe it is stress-related. Heart murmurs are very common in cats, and it’s not currently causing any issues for Fifi. Please note that as these conditions may not be covered by pet insurance companies as they will be classed as pre-existing.

Due to a national shortage of cat vaccinations, we are currently experiencing delays in rehoming some of our cats.

This shortage and delay may mean that some cats are needing to leave the shelter without their full vaccination course.

If you are successfully contacted to rehome a cat from us, our rehoming team will provide further detail about the shortage and what it means for you and your new cat.
