Corporate Volunteering Information
We typically run Corporate Volunteer days on a Wednesday and Friday, from March through until September.
Minimum numbers for volunteer days are 10 people with a maximum of 20 people. All volunteer days take place at our Benton North Farm Shelter (NE12 8EH). All volunteers must be over 18 years of age.
All groups of Corporate Volunteers are required to fundraise (see below for further information). This fundraising is vital to helping raise funds to help the day to day running of the Shelter.
You will be out and about getting stuck in on site so please dress appropriately! Warm clothing is advised. It can be very muddy on site so please choose footwear wisely.

Our fundraising ask
We have many groups from all different businesses who volunteer with us every year which is why we ask for each group to raise £200.00 – this makes a huge difference over the course of the year.
If you’re not sure where to start, here are some ideas:
- Office Cake Sale
- Coffee Morning
- Tombola
- Raffle
- Fancy Dress Day
- Sponsored Walk/Run
You might even have someone who will brave a shave (or wax) and you can collect sponsors that way too.
There are so many ways to fundraise and you will smash your £200.00 target in no time!
