Blade – Dog Number 2762 – Age (approx) 14 years old – SBT – Arrival Date – February 2023.

Blade can be rehomed with children 16+. He could live with another dog matching his size and temperament, but no cats or small animals.

Blade is just a huge, loveable personality who oozes character! He loves to be made a fuss of and has the time of his life running round playing on a field.

Blade came into our care as a stray, so we have little background information on him, but we do know that it is possible that he has never lived in a home before. Blade’s new family will need to understand and be prepared for this – the change of environment is likely to be massive for him and it may take him a little while to become adjusted and settle in.

Although an older chap at 14, you simply wouldn’t believe it watching him run around and play, he has plenty of life left in him and would easily give some of our younger dogs a run for their money! Blade would love a family who can take him on lots of lovely adventures and spoil him rotten. Blade reckons he isn’t quite ready for retirement yet and we can’t wait to see him truly live his best life in his forever home – this lovely, daft lad so deserves it.

Blade has mild cataracts, his eyes have been examined by our vets and he does not currently require any treatment for these. He has also had quite extensive dental work whilst in our care, any potential rehomers should be aware that this may have implications for pet insurance.

If you are interested in rehoming Blade, please fill out the application form below.

Please note: due to limited resources we are unable to get back to everyone. If you do not hear from us you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.
