Cara

By | Dogs

Cara – Dog Number 1817 – Age (approx) 12 years old – German Shepherd (Alsatian) – Arrival Date – December 2021.

Cara can be rehomed with children 8+. Cara needs to be the only animal in the home.

Cara is a sweet and friendly girl who is always pleased to see new people and make new friends. She will come over to greet you and usually try and initiate play with you if there is a ball around!  She may jump up to say hello as she can’t contain herself, but she is very good at getting down when asked.

Cara has had a few bad experiences on walks in her previous home with some instances with other dogs.  Because of this she is a bit fearful of other dogs and can become vocal around them.

Cara needs to go to a home who has experience with large breeds of dog and ideally dogs with challenging behaviour around other dogs. It may mean adjusting your lifestyle a little to walk her in quiet areas and at quiet times of day.

Cara would benefit from a home where she will get a fuss made of her.  She loves to play and loves human company so a home where she will get lots of attention is a must for her!

If you are interested in rehoming Cara, please fill out the application form below.

Please note: due to limited resources we are unable to get back to everyone. If you do not hear from us you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.

Bear

By | Dogs

Bear – Dog Number 1722 – Age (approx) 6 years old – Siberian Husky – Arrival Date – November 2021.

Bear can be rehomed with children aged 16+. Bear can be rehomed with other dogs, but sadly no cats or small animals.

Bear is a bit of a quirky character that can sometimes appear aloof around new people; he comes round quickly however and soon enjoys attention and fuss from you. Bear is a wonderful boy and, once he gets to know you, he is a total ray of sunshine with such a comedic personality; he will bring endless hours of entertainment into your life!

Bear used to be a bikejoring dog and was trained to pull so this is still very much ingrained into him and therefore he will need a physically strong owner to control him on walks. He does, sadly, have mild hip dysplasia so his bikejoring days are now behind him, but he will still need to be kept active body, mind and soul!

Bear is looking for an energetic home who can give him plenty of mental and physical stimulation, however, due to his hip dysplasia, we would not recommend he goes back into any kind of dog sport.

Bear would benefit from a home that has experience with the breed and has lots of time to spend with him.  He does have strong opinions about things and isn’t afraid to share that with you!

Bear’s is not currently on any medication for his hip dysplasia, but he may require pain relief in the future and any potential rehomer needs to be aware insurance will not cover this.

If you are interested in rehoming Bear, please fill out the application form below.

Please note: due to limited resources we are unable to get back to everyone. If you do not hear from us you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.

Momo

By | Cats

Momo- Cat Number 1801 – Age (approx) 9 months old – Arrival Date December 2021

Momo is an outdoor cat who could live with children age 10+.

Momo is a charming young lady, she is the most affectionate girl who always comes running up to you and she’ll make sure she gets all the attention she can get. She loves to follow us around and flops and rolls around on our feet whilst purring away, until we give in for a cuddle. She loves to be close to humans and melts right into you, if you pick her up for cuddles.

Momo’s absolute favourite thing in the whole wide world is her humans of course, but being a young curious kitten she also loves her playtime and has a lot of fun playing with toys, especially wand toys.

Momo has been a little sweetheart whilst in our care, she’s always been a pleasure to be around but her previous owners have mentioned that she displayed some challenging behaviours in her previous home, for this reason we would like her to go to a home with older children. We will discuss this with any potential rehomers in more detail.

If you are interested in rehoming Momo, please fill out the application form below.

Please note: due to limited resources we are unable to get back to everyone. If you do not hear from us you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.

Fifi

By | Cats

Fifi- Cat Number 1800 – Age (approx) 9 months old – Arrival Date December 2021

Fifi is an outdoor cat who could live with children age 10+.

Fifi is a beautiful young lad who is growing in confidence every day. He is a curious, friendly boy, sometimes it takes him a moment to suss out who you are if he doesn’t know you but it doesn’t take long for him to get used to strangers and turn into a little ball of affection.

Fifi is a very cuddly boy, he will rub up against your legs and circle you for attention, and he’s the happiest when given a chance to jump on your lap for a cuddle and a snooze. Fifi is even happy to be held and have cuddles there, once he knows you.

We have seen Fifi to be the sweetest lad whilst in our care, he’s always been a pleasure to be around but his previous owners have mentioned that he displayed some challenging behaviours in his previous home, for this reason we would like him to go to a home with older children. We will discuss this with any potential rehomers in more detail.

Overall Fifi is an absolute little sweetheart, all he wants is a warm snuggly spot to have a nap in and his humans to have cuddles with.

If you are interested in rehoming Fifi, please fill out the application form below.

Please note: due to limited resources we are unable to get back to everyone. If you do not hear from us you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.

Riley

By | Cats

Riley- Cat Number 1788 – Age (approx) 12 years old – Arrival Date November 2021

Riley is an outdoor cat who could live with children age 12+. Riley would like to be the only pet.

Riley is a very inquisitive and active chap, don’t let his age fool you as he’s full of beans – always on the go and ready to explore! Riley is a confident lad who is always up and about, he doesn’t seem to be phased by anything, and he’s always keen to come out of his pen to have a wander around the cattery.

Riley is also affectionate, if you can get him to stay still for long enough for a cuddle. Riley can be vocal for attention and he gets carried away when you stroke him, he enjoys his cuddles so much he will stand up on his hind legs like a meerkat to headbutt your hand and get closer to you.

Riley would like a new home with space for him to explore and his human friends to give him plenty of enrichment to help keep him active. He loves his food and enjoy puzzle feeds which might be a good way to keep him busy. Riley is looking for a home with older children, as his previous owners have said he was not too keen on younger children.

Riley has a grade 2 heart murmur. Heart murmurs are quite common in cats, Riley’s is on the lower end of the scale and not currently causing him any issues. Please note that it may be excluded by pet insurance providers as a pre-existing condition if he did need any treatment in the future.

If you are interested in rehoming Riley, please fill out the application form below.

Please note: due to limited resources we are unable to get back to everyone. If you do not hear from us you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.

Midnight

By | Cats

Midnight – Cat Number 1770 – Age (approx) 1 year old – Arrival Date November 2021

Midnight is an outdoor cat who could live with children age 10+. Midnight would like to be the only cat.

Midnight is a gorgeous young lady who is ready to find her forever home where she can have all the attention for herself after raising kittens.

Midnight is a curious lady, always keen to investigate what’s going on; she’ll always come out and straight over to you the second she hears you coming. Midnight really loves a good cheek rub! She enjoys attention, and likes to be curled up in a warm cosy bed while you fuss her. Depending on her mood, Midnight might even be happy to be picked up and stay there for some cuddles.

Midnight is quite independent at times, she sometimes just prefers to be off doing her own thing, whether this is heading out to explore or chasing her toy mice around her pen by herself.

Midnight is a funny little character who would be well suited to a family looking for an independent but an affectionate cat, one that can keep themselves busy whilst they are out but also happy to cuddle up with at the end of the day.

If you are interested in rehoming Midnight, please fill out the application form below.

Please note: due to limited resources we are unable to get back to everyone. If you do not hear from us you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.
