Clover

By | Dogs

Clover – Dog Number 1131 – Age (approx) 5 years old – Jack Russell Terrier – Arrival Date- March 2021

Clover needs to be rehomed to an adult only home with no other animals.

Clover is a beautiful little girl with a very high energy level who can be incredibly nervous around new people and in new situations. When Clover is nervous and feeling unsure she can display some undesirable behaviours; she becomes very vocal and snacks at the air around her. Clover therefore needs a quiet, calm and understanding home with a confident owner who is happy to take their time getting to know her before exposing her to the big wide-world or expecting too much of her.

Once Clover gets to know you and feels happy in your company she is full of beans and loves nothing more than a lovely snuggle and a cuddle on your lap. It may take a while to win Clover round but we promise it will be worth it and you will soon fall head over heals in love with her just as we have.

If you are interested in rehoming Clover, please fill out the application form below.

Please note: due to limited resources we are unable to get back to everyone. If you do not hear from us you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.

Dougal

By | Dogs

Dougal – Dog Number 1134 – Age (approx) 13 years old – Westie – Arrival Date- March 2021

Dougal can be rehomed with children 16+ and dogs but sadly no cats or small animals.

Dougal is an adorable older gentleman who likes to take life at his own pace. He enjoys a little bit of fuss but then will happily be on his way to have a nice lie down. He is looking for a calm and quiet retirement home to enjoy some cozy snuggles, a little sniff around a nice garden and a short walk to the park.

Dougal does have some persistent issues with his ears and is on medication for stiffness in his back legs, as they are starting to show the effects of his age, so any potential home needs to factor vets visits and costs into their consideration.

Dougal is a gorgeous boy who has stolen our hearts with his mellow and nonchalant approach to life, you simply cannot help but smile as you watch him go about his day!

Angel

By | Dogs

Angel – Dog Number 1113 – Age (approx) 5 years old – Staffordshire Bull Terrier – Arrival Date- March 2021

Angel can be rehomed with children 10+ but sadly not other dogs or small animals.

Angel by name, Angel by nature; a typical Staffy, Angel almost bursts to see you and have a cuddle. She simply adores her humans and wants as much fuss as possible from them.

Angel came in to us as a stray so we don’t have a great amount of information on how she behaves when around other dogs in public but in the shelter environment she has shown us she would rather not be around them and can react very badly in her kennel. Outside of her kennel she does not seek another dog’s company but will happily ignore them. An owner with experience of reactive dogs could be beneficial to Angel.

Angel is a true sweetheart and a beautiful girl both inside and out. She deserves a home with a family who has plenty of time to spend loving her and accepting she may be a little needy at times. Angel is an absolute pleasure to be around and will bring so much fun and energy to your home.

If you are interested in rehoming Angel, please fill out the application form below.

Ben

By | Dogs

Ben – Dog Number 1111 – Age (approx) 9 years old – GSD – Arrival Date- March 2021

Ben can be rehomed with children of any age, dogs, and small animals.

Ben is a super fun and wonderful boy who has no idea he is getting that little bit older. He is still full of energy and enjoys life to the max!

Ben is friendly and excitable and loves to have a fuss made of him; he is more than happy to use his voice to let you know he would like some more cuddles and belly rubs. Ben can also be vocal when meeting strangers but typically he just wants you to know he is there to receive more attention.

Sadly Ben does have skin issues and we feel these will be be lifelong which could mean a few vets visits and bills but he takes it all in his stride and doesn’t let it bother him.

Ben will bring so much fun, energy and love to your home you won’t ever remember your home without him in it!

Cher

By | Dogs

Cher – Dog Number 1015 – Age (approx) 2 years old – Jack Russell Terrier Cross – Arrival Date- January 2021

Cher can be rehomed with children of any age but sadly cannot be rehomed with any other animals in the home.

Cher is a sweet girl who craves love and attention from her human friends.

Cher is quite a nervous dog and desperately needs an owner who has the time, patience and understanding to help build her confidence so she is better equipped to deal with, what at the moment is, an overwhelming world. Cher has spent time in two foster homes but, sadly, neither felt they were the right owner to help Cher overcome her worries.

Cher’s nervous, and often needy, disposition means she can react very badly to dogs when out on walks and simply does not seek their company. She will need an owner prepared to walk her at quiet times in less populated areas while she learns how to deal with her fears. She needs a confident owner to assure her she is safe and need not worry all on her own.

Cher will reward you with your efforts by bringing lots of love and laughs to your home.

If you are interested in rehoming Cher, please fill out the application form below.
