Bruno & Miggy

By | Dogs

Bruno & Miggy – Dog Numbers 1727 & 1728 – Age (approx) 3 & 2 years old. French Bulldog & Jackahuahua – Arrival Date – November 2021.

Bruno & Miggy need to be rehomed to an adult only home. They could be rehomed with other dogs, but sadly no cats or small animals.

Bruno and Miggy are a whirlwind of fun and energy who spend their time chasing each other around and enjoying a little rough and tumble! Bruno & Miggy were initially separated after having a few fall-outs, but missed each other dearly and we have come to understand that this is simply how these boys like to interact with each other. Bruno is definitely the more confident out of the pair, with Miggy being quite shy and reserved. Bruno will make friends with anybody and is a typical French Bulldog who likes everybody to be aware of his presence. It takes Miggy a little longer to gain enough confidence to say hello, but once you are his friend, he loves to be made a fuss of.

Bruno and Miggy are incredibly close so do have to be rehomed together.

Bruno and Miggy will be best suited to a home with plenty of time to spend giving the boys lots of love and attention. Their previous owner has mentioned they were vocal in the home so this may be something their new family needs to be mindful of.

We have no doubt they will bring a fun and boisterous energy to your home that will keep you smiling all day!

If you are interested in rehoming Bruno & Miggy, please fill out the application form below.

Please note: due to limited resources we are unable to get back to everyone. If you do not hear from us you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.

Hugo

By | Dogs

Hugo – Dog Number 1729 – Age (approx) 8 years old – JRT – Arrival Date – November 2021.

Hugo needs to be rehomed to an adult only home and needs to be the only animal in the home.

Hugo is an absolute sweetheart and the most delightful little boy. He can be a little nervous at times, but for the most part, there is no such thing as a stranger to little Hugo, simply friends he has not met yet. He enjoys a fuss and a cuddle and lots of attention and affection! Hugo feels most secure when he is in your arms. He is a teeny little dog and the world around him can seem very daunting. He likes to be carried and cuddled to help him feels safe.

Sadly Hugo can exhibit some challenging behaviours when he feels uncertain so will need an understanding owner who is prepared to take it slow with him. Hugo does not enjoy the company of children so we must be very strict in looking for a home where no children visit. He also does not enjoy the vet and will need to be muzzled when going for check-ups and yearly boosters etc.

Hugo does seem to have some mild hip dysplasia and may need pain relief to manage this in the future although it does not affect him currently. He does a have a quirky little hop as he runs along but this just seems to be a habit he has picked up.

Luckily for Hugo, his delightful demeanour makes up for all of this and we know he will bring a delightful warmth to your home, making you smile every day.

If you are interested in rehoming Hugo, please fill out the application form below.

Marley – Dog Number 1799 – Age (approx) 10 years old – Springer Spaniel – Arrival Date – December 2021.

Marley can be rehomed with children 10+, and needs to be the only animal in the home.

Marley may be getting on in years but he does not let this effect his enjoyment of life and is still full of fun and energy. He is a loving and friendly boy who is always happy to greet you with a waggy tail ready for some strokes and attention.

Marley is still incredibly energetic and enjoys being active mentally and physically. Marley is surprisingly strong and can pull when on walks so will need an owner who is able to manage this.

Hamish – Dog Number 1714 – Age (approx) 4 years old – SBT – Arrival Date – November 2021.

Hamish can be rehomed with children 16 + and needs to be the only animal in the home.

Hamish is an absolute whirlwind with bags of character! He is full of fun and can get over-excited, sometimes this means he forgets his manners and can get a little over-the-top.

Hamish needs an owner who has experience of strong, boisterous staffies with a good record of training and behaviour work to help teach this gorgeous boy how to lead a slightly calmer way of life.

Hamish may pose some challenges as he finds his way in his new life, but we know he will be so very worth all the hard work and will repay you with that massive staffie smile and all the love in the world!

Samson

Samson can be rehomed with children 12+. He needs to be the only dog in the home but can be rehomed with cats and small animals.

Samson is a happy and friendly older boy who likes to take life at his own pace. He enjoys a cuddle with his friends and a gentle potter around, but nothing too strenuous.

Samson is looking for a peaceful, quiet home full of love and cuddles and a nice squishy bed to enjoy his retirement in.

Posh

By | Dogs

Posh – Dog Number 1787 – Age (approx) 8 years old – Collie Cross – Arrival Date – November 2021.

Posh can be rehomed with children 12+, and needs to be the only animal in the home.

Posh is the most beautiful girl with the sweetest personality. She loves her human friends and will gently ask for lots of affection and attention from them. She has been incredibly well behaved in our care and is simply a delight to be around.

Posh can be reactive to some dogs so this will need to be taken into consideration by any potential adopters as this will likely be a behaviour which will require ongoing training and management. An owner with experience in dog reactivity would be beneficial.

Posh has came from an environment where she was living as on outside dog. To our knowledge she has never lived inside a home. Although we, of course, are looking for a nice cosy home for Posh to live indoors, we do need to be strict to the fact that she will require lots of secure outside space so she can still enjoy lots of freedom while she adjusts to a new way of life. We simply have no idea how Posh will adapt and react to inside living and will expect there to be some bumps in the road as she settles in.

Posh will be best suited to a rural environment with an experienced and understanding owner who is happy to take their time in understanding this will be a huge change for Posh. We know, however, that she is the most wonderful girl and is truly worth the time, effort and energy it may take to introduce her to your home. She will repay you with so much fun and love to make it all worthwhile.

If you are interested in rehoming Posh, please fill out the application form below.

Arnold

By | Dogs

Arnold – Dog Number 1749 – Age (approx) 2 years old – Lurcher – Arrival Date – November 2021.

Arnold can be rehomed with children 13+, and needs to be the only animal in the home.

Arnold is a gorgeous young lad who is always happy to come over to say hello. He enjoys a fuss being made of him and is the type of charmer who will never fail to make you smile.

He is only young and can forget his manners in his quest to get your attention, so he can sometimes get a little too boisterous and does still jump up. He means no harm however, and is just simply excited to see you!

Arnold would benefit from a fun and active home with a family who has plenty of time to spend taking him on lots of adventures and with a focus on furthering his training to encourage him to be the goodest boy possible!

If you are interested in rehoming Arnold, please fill out the application form below.
